Our liquid homeopathics contain alcohol as a preservative. Some animals may be sensitive to alcohol. Consult your veterinarian to determine if the small amount of alcohol in a dose could harm your pet. For pets sensitive to alcohol, consider the following alternatives:
Add the appropriate amount of homeopathic remedy to your pet's drinking water.
If your pet is sensitive to the smell of alcohol, add the dose to a small amount of very warm water. After about 90 seconds, most of the alcohol will evaporate. Then, administer the dose to your pet via their drinking water or a dropper.
You may also consider dissolving the alcohol-free "human" version homeopathic pellets in water.
Spray tops and plastic droppers are available to replace bulb-glass droppers or Euro droppers on any NEWTON homeopathics® liquid complex or single remedy. They are sold as a separate item in the Miscellaneous Department.
