Clinical Homeopathy II: Foundational Concepts
Chapter 1: The Basic Concepts
Chapter 2: The Role of Toxins in Disease Formation
Chapter 3: The Conditions
Chapter 4: Chronic Disease - Its Evolution & Treatment
This Program is an in-depth study of Clinical Homeopathy as practiced in Europe, and more recently in the United States of America. You will learn the theory and practical application of the clinical approach to homeopathy, as well as review the classical approach to homeopathy. You will also study when and how to utilize each approach effectively.
The role of toxins, diet, enzymes and environmental and emotional factors are studied in regard to the individual. The different states of health, from acute disease to the gradual development of chronic disease are explained, as well as the recommended diagnostic tools for use. The typology of Dr. Henri Bernard (one of the most skilled homeopaths from 1930 to 1970) is explained as a tool for accurate and expedient diagnosing. The developmental states of chronic disease (sthenic, transitory, asthenic and marasamus) are explained as another diagnostic tool that can lead to more effective treatment of patients.
The five independent Courses are available through the online platform Thinkific. It is taken at your own pace but generally requires two years of study or until proficiency is apparent. For assistance please call (800) 448-7256 and ask for our educator or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
CERTIFICATION: Students will receive a certificate after completion in Thinkific of each of the five independent Courses that includes a worksheet and quiz for each chapter. After completing the five Courses, a student may opt to complete a case study/dissertation to obtain a diploma. The student must submit a description of the treatment of a patient, of the student him/herself, or of a family member. We are interested in the steps that were followed from diagnosis, to remedy selection, to response from the remedies. The dissertation must follow the clinical approach as taught in this Program and be your personal work. You may use other homeopathic writings other than this Program to write your piece as well as personal research in the field, such as provings or theoretical considerations. The dissertation must be typed and may be submitted in hardcopy or electronic form. For blind students, a tape is welcomed.
A diploma and authority to use the letters D.A. Hom. (Diplomate of the American Academy of Clinical Homeopathy) is awarded to those who successfully complete the dissertation.
Students who are working on their dissertation will have access to the professional (PRO) line at the retail rate. After receipt of the diploma, those with a business license availability changes to the wholesale rate. Students who are health practitioners may have access to the PRO line at the wholesale rate after credential verification.
Note: To facilitate understanding, it is recommended that you complete the parts of the Course in the order that they are presented. You will also need a Materia Medica and Repertory in order to look up the symptoms that come with the different remedies. We advise the use of the Boericke, which contains both a Materia Medica and Repertory. If you don't have this book, you may order one from us (hardcover printed in India) or purchase it on your own. Many additional versions of Materia Medicas (and other homeopathic-related books) are readily available at Nature-Reveals.com - Minimum Price Homeopathic Books.
