According to the Materia Medica the following remedies in Aches~Pains may be administered for symptoms of the following conditions:
Aconitum napellus: Inflammation of joints; Painful stiffness in the nape of neck, the loins and the hip joints.
Argentum nitricum: Pains increase and decrease gradually; Pain in calves all night.
Arnica montana: Trauma and it's effects, recent or remote; Pain in back and limbs as if beaten; Pains, as from fatigue.
Bryonia: Stitches and stiffness in small of back; Joints red, swollen and hot; Hot and pale swelling of the finger joints.
Colchicum autumnale: Stiffness; Painful sensibility of the whole body, so that the patient cannot move without groaning.
Guaiacum: Immovable stiffness; Aching in nape; Painful weariness and weakness in the arms and thighs with dread of movement.
Hamamelis virginiana: Bruised feeling in upper arms and shoulder, worse by motion.
Hypericum perforatum: Neuritis, tingling, burning and numbness; Excellent remedy for general depression.
Kalmia latifolia: Pains affect a large part of limb or several joints and pass through quickly; Weariness in all muscles.
Phosphorus: Bruises; Pain or soreness in spots; Bone fragility.
Phytolacca decandra: Aching in heels, legs, ankles, and feet; Soreness from head to foot in all muscles.
Pulsatilla: Changing shifting symptoms; Hip joints painful; Feet red, painful, swollen, edematous; Redness and swelling of joints.
Rhus toxicodendron: Stiffness of muscles and joints; Involuntary limping; Pain and stiffness in small of back, better motion or lying on something hard, worse while sitting; Inflammatory swelling of instep.
Ruta graveolens: Sore aching with restlessness; Tendons are sore; Pain in limbs, joints, and bones as if beaten.
Sarcolacticum acidum: Stiffness of thighs and calves; Extreme fatigue, anxiety, prostration (exhaustion).
Sticta pulmonaria: On movement, painful bruised sensation in muscles, especially of forearm; Sore stiff neck, pains to shoulder.
